Our agency is a private, nonprofit organization. We are not affiliated with animal control, nor do we have the city or county contracts for animal control. We are also not affiliated with any other Humane Society or shelter. We do not receive funding from HSUS, the ASPCA or any other national organization.

The money raised in our community for our shelter is used at our shelter. Throughout the year, we hold various events to raise funds and gain friends. We hope you will participate in these fun events with your family!

2024 Events

Whisker Mixer Silent Auction + Gala
Friday, May 17, 2024 – 6:00pm. This event features a silent auction, wine and coffee pull, music, food, and drinks.

Strut for the Strays
Saturday, July 20, 2024 – Registrations starts at 7:30am. Join us for our annual 5K Fun Run/Walk, Strut for the Strays! Run with your dog and raise funds to help the shelter pets.

Canine Carnival
Saturday, August 17, 2024 – 10am to 3pm. Join us for our annual Canine Carnival, featuring a scavenger hunt and crafts for kids, craft and vendor booths, food trucks, raffles, and more! This is a dog and family friendly event!
