Projects include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gardening or trail maintenance at the shelter  (High School only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleaning the HSSCM Bark Park (High School only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hosting a donation drive<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raising funds through a pop can drive, bake sale, or similar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating a special art project (zine, adoption board, and more)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social media project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:jessica@hsscm.org\">CLICK HERE to email your interest<\/a>&nbsp;in student hours, and we will help you come up with a great project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Book Buddies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students age 6 \u2013 11 can arrange to come to the shelter with their parent and read aloud to the shelter cats in order to better their reading skills.
